On the afternoon of December 19, the series of activities titled "Guangxi Time-honored Brands and Guangxi Famous Dishes and Snacks Entering High-speed Rail", jointly hosted by the Department of Commerce of Guangxi, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi, and China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd., was launched at the Naning Railway Catering Base. Seizing the peak travel period at the end of the year and the beginning of the Chinese lunar new year, this series of activities further promotes Guangxi's old brands and Guangxi's cuisine brands, and lets the people of the whole China better understand Guangxi's ethnic culture and special food.

This event has launched the high-speed train special service of Guangxi's time-honored brands and the high-speed train special service of famous Guangxi's cuisine and snacks, with the trains departing from Nanningdong Railway Station and running through Guangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Guizhou, and Yunnan. At the same time, 100 sets of high-speed trains will incorporate elements of Guangxi's time-honored brands and famous Guangxi's dishes and snacks while going to over 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, covering more than 100 cities, fully showcasing the unique charm of Guangxi's time-honored brands and Guangxi's culinary culture, allowing more people to learn about Guangxi's specialties and local dishes.

So far, the train has launched 24 items of the "Impressive Guangxi Flavor" series brand lunch boxes, including Guangxi Lemon Duck, Guilin Lipu Taro with braised pork, Guilin Rice Noodles, and five-color glutinous rice, which contain the top ten famous dishes and the top ten famous snacks of Guangxi, allowing travelers coming from different parts of the country to taste authentic Guangxi cuisine during their journey.
