Lucky Air, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, launched a new international route from Kunming, the capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province to Vientiane, the capital of Laos on Tuesday.
The route will operate three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, aiming to provide passengers with more convenient and affordable air travel options.
The flight No. 8L861 is scheduled to depart from Kunming Changshui International Airport at 4:35 p.m. (local time), arriving in Vientiane at 5:20 p.m. And the return flight No. 8L862 will leave Wattay International Airport at 6:20 p.m., landing in Kunming at 9:05 p.m.
The airline has opened multiple international routes this year, including those from Kunming to Bangkok and Lijiang in Yunnan to Haiphong, Vietnam.
Lucky Air, a low-cost Chinese carrier headquartered in Kunming, Yunnan Province, started operation on Feb. 26, 2006. The airline currently operates 146 international and domestic routes, connecting 71 cities.
