Wuming’s orah mandarins are currently in season, and a new wave of e-commerce “new farmers” has emerged in Wuming District. These individuals typically engage in farming at home, but during the orah mandarin production and sales season, they transition into online hosts. With their sharp insights and unwavering efforts, they have opened new avenues for wealth generation.

In Wuming District, those involve in live-streaming e-commerce sales include fruit farmers, merchants, and entrepreneurs. In the latter half of this year, the Women's Federation of Wuming District, in collaboration with the Wuming District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, organized training courses at the Nanning North E-commerce Incubation Base, cultivating a group of “permanent” e-commerce talents at no cost. After successfully completing their training, these individuals actively promote Wuming District. Simultaneously, an increasing number of farmers and young people are aspiring to become online hosts, utilizing live streaming and short-video marketing to showcase farming scenes, recommend unique agricultural products, and amplify the “good voice” of rural life. They view mobile phones as “new farming tools”, live streaming as “new farming work”, and engage in “cloud-based” agriculture, infusing fresh vitality into their products and driving rural revitalization.
