On December 29, Longmen Bridge, the longest cross-sea bridge in Guangxi, was officially opened to traffic. This new infrastructure allows for a journey from Fangchenggang to Qinzhou Port in just about 25 minutes.

As a key project supporting the integration of Beihai, Qinzhou, and Fangchenggang, the completion of Longmen Bridge alleviates the "bottleneck" along the Guangxi Coastal Highway and shortens the driving distance between Fangchenggang and Qinzhou Port. The travel time between these two locations has been dramatically reduced from the original 1.5 hours to approximately 25 minutes. This improvement is crucial for promoting the integration of Beihai, Qinzhou, and Fangchenggang, enhancing the high-quality development of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, and facilitating the construction of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.

The opening of Longmen Bridge will also connect scenic spots such as Sanniang Bay in Qinzhou, Silver Beach in Beihai, and the Dongxing Border Scenic Area. This development aims to transform the Guangxi Coastal Highway into a vibrant tourism and sightseeing route, where "driving cars by the sea, people feel as if they are traveling through a painting".
