Hezhou city in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region launched its inaugural direct high-speed train service to Hong Kong on Jan 5, reducing travel time to 2 hours and 28 minutes for passengers departing from Hezhou Railway Station.

He emphasized the enhanced connectivity between Hezhou and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, noting the convenience extended to tourists from Hong Kong wishing to visit Hezhou.

Additionally, on the same day, the city introduced various promotional offerings for tourists taking the G319/320 train from Chongqing West Railway Station to Hong Kong's West Kowloon Railway Station. These promotions included complimentary one-time admission to attractions such as Huangyao Ancient Town in Hezhou city.
