On January 7, reporters learned from the Nanning Immigration Inspection Station that since the comprehensive optimization of the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, five foreign tourists have already enjoyed its benefits in Nanning. To ensure the smooth implementation of the policy at Nanning’s airports, the Nanning Immigration Inspection Station has strengthened collaboration with customs, cultural and tourism departments, and the airport to provide seamless clearance services for international travelers visiting Nanning.

The Nanning Immigration Inspection Station has made meticulous preparations to facilitate the implementation of the 240-hour visa-free transit policy at Nanning’s port of entry. Adjustments were made to the facilities, on-site guidance signs were improved, and bilingual (Chinese-English) “240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Area Information Sheets” were distributed. Additionally, police officers that proficient in foreign languages have been assigned to provide warm and helpful services to foreign visitors on site. By working closely with relevant departments in Nanning, the station has ensured comprehensive service support for international travelers.
